Overview

Available at Level 2 and Level 3, our Bakery apprenticeship offers students the chance to learn and develop key skills and knowledge required for baking, while working alongside expert assessors with experience in the baking industry. This apprenticeship can lead to employment as a craft baker, in-store baker and cake decorator, among many other roles.

Funding band: £1,500

Length: Minimum 12 months

  • Principles of preparing and handling bakery finishing materials
  • Demonstrate cake decoration skills in finishing cakes with sugar paste
