Apprentice Account Banking Administrator

The Apprentice Account Banking administrator will work closely with the Finance Manager and other staff. They may also be required to take on some additional duties to support the Finance Manager and meet deadlines.
About the Employer
R Noone & Son is a fruit and vegetable supplier to the catering industry, including schools, colleges, pubs, restaurants, cafe’s and bars. They operate a very fast paced business and currently employ more than 100 members of staff.
The administrator will work in a team with lots of prospects to gain skills and knowledge as part of their intermediate apprenticeship.
As an accounts administrator you will be able to use Sage and all areas of Microsoft.
A good knowledge of Petty cash including reconciliations, Customer receipt allocation, Staff hours (for payroll), Purchase receipts / direct debit payments and Bank reconciliation will be required.
You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other employees, You may also be required to take on extra duties to support Finance Manager and to meet deadlines.
As part of an intermediate apprenticeship you will also achieve qualifications in English and maths if required.

Requirements and prospects
No formal qualifications required, but MUST be able to use Sage and Microsoft programmes.
Complete an Intermediate Apprenticeship, possibly leading to an Advanced Apprenticeship (management level) at a later date. The Apprenticeship will provide some flexibility and an opportunity to undertake some specialist units if you have a particular interest to explore. Opportunities may arise in the future to take on a management role within the business or even to run your own business.

Must also possess common sense and be able to work under own initiative and under pressure.
