You’ll also discover how to effectively manage the online identity that you use to interact with others.

In this unit, you’ll discover how to safely and effectively use online services to conduct a range of activities, such as shopping, banking, managing utilities and paying bills. You’ll also look at how to manage your account settings, including signing in, managing your details, and configuring notifications. Additionally, you’ll learn how to compare online buying options, identify the best choice, and securely make online purchases.
- Unit 5: Being safe and responsible online
In the final unit, you’ll gain an understanding of how to protect your personal information while using the internet and digital devices. You’ll look at common data threats and uncover methods for protecting your data and devices, including multi-factor authentication, password management and data backup. Plus, you’ll explore ways to protect your digital wellbeing while using devices.
