The course is delivered by Strive Training and takes place in a classroom environment at our teaching centre in Croydon. Level 1 and Level 2 courses operate as 2 week, full-time courses that run from 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The course start date is 4th February 2019. Combination courses, covering both levels, can be completed in as little as 4 weeks. We don’t waste your time teaching you skills you already have, so many students complete our courses faster than this.
Full course content
Level 1 and 2 Functional Mathematics aims to promote mathematical thinking and transferable skills rather than rote learning. Students also cover simple Maths that is useful in everyday situations and the world of work, mathematical routines and procedures as well as contextual material.
Each learner will receive an individualised learning plan that focussed on the specific content you need to master in order to achieve your qualification.
Completing these courses also allow progression to the next level of Functional Maths.
