Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

Strive Training recognises its moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all learners. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where all learners are respected and valued.

At Strive Training We Are Committed To:
  • Learners feeling safe in their learning environment at Strive;
  • Learners having confidence to come forward to speak or act if they, or someone else, is at risk of harm;
  • A shared responsibility for safeguarding;
  • Promoting British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs;
  • Safer recruitment in education;

It is the responsibly of all members of staff, tutors and volunteers to report cases of suspected abuse, disclosure of abuse or abuse of trust through the correct safeguarding procedures and be aware of the policy and procedure for doing this.

We train all staff regularly in safeguarding practice and make learners aware of their rights and responsibilities and how to find the help they need.

If you have concerns that a vulnerable adult is at risk of harm or is being abused you must report this.

If you have any concerns tell a member of
the Safeguarding Team immediately.
