Basic IT Strive Training

Strive Training has launched a brand-new free IT course exclusively for residents of Wandsworth – helping people across the vibrant borough develop basic computing skills.

Our five-day Digital Skills for Everyday Life course is available to both employed and unemployed residents (subject to eligibility), and takes place inside the Wandsworth Professional Development inside Burntwood School.

Learners will get to grips with a wide range of computing basics from using email, the internet and word processors to understanding computer security.

The course will be led by an experienced IT tutor who will offer one-to-one support to each learner. After completing this five-day course, learners will earn an internally accredited qualification and benefit from ongoing employment support, if required.

Strive Training’s Managing Director Jonny Phillips says, “We are thrilled to launch our first Wandsworth-exclusive course. Residents of this vibrant area of London deserve the opportunity to gain essential computer skills, and we are proud to offer this at no cost to them.”

The first course starts on 28 October 2024, with another planned for 4 November. Further details can be found on the Digital Skills for Everyday Life course page.
