My name is Sonia, I live in Biggin Hill and have completed a number of courses at Strive Training’s Croydon branch.

I previously achieved a Level 1 Business Administration there, but thought that this level was not enough for employment – I needed more knowledge. So I decided to apply to Strive for an online Level 2 qualification.

I was concerned to study online, as I’m not technology oriented, but it worked out brilliantly! Here’s why:

Firstly, the course was fully accredited. This is important when you’re looking for employment, as an accreditation is taken seriously and makes you look professional.  

Secondly, the course was funded – and after all, I’m on benefits, so the budget is tight. 

Third: flexibility. With three school-aged children, the home during lock down was busy! Knowing that I could study my course when convenient was so important for me. 

I was also so impressed and grateful that Jackie, my tutor, was always there if I needed help.

I really can’t thank Strive Training enough for all the support and encouragement that I’ve received. They’ve really given my confidence a huge boost. Also, my new-found knowledge has left me hungry for me – to the extent that I’ve plucked up the courage to apply for university! 

To those out there who are thinking of doing a course, I have two words: Do it! 

The course is accredited, free, you study in your own time, and you have the support of your tutor who is very approachable. I can’t thank Strive Training enough for opening the doorway to a world of education – and a better future for me and my family.
