Strive Training has launched a brand-new Level 3 course to help learners understand and care for people suffering from dementia.
Our Dementia Care course has been designed to offer an in-depth understanding into one of the biggest health challenges of our time.
In this online course, learners will gain insight into the different types of dementia, how to support individuals with dementia, and the principles of the administration of medication.
Completion of the live virtual course results in an NCFE Level 3 certification, while post-course employment support is designed to help learners progress into relevant employment within the health and social care sector.
Strive Training’s Managing Director Jonny Phillips explains, “It’s a sobering fact that someone in the UK develops dementia every three minutes. This course will help people develop the understanding, skill and compassion to care for patients suffering from this debilitating condition.”
This four-week course starts on 7 May 2024 and is free to eligible learners. Further details about this course can be found on our Dementia Care page.
