Discover a Rewarding Career in Health and Social Care

< back to news

The demand for health and social care is on the rise, as the numbers of older people and those living with long-term conditions and disabilities increase. To keep pace with the growing demand, the care sector needs to recruit 128,000 new care workers every year – creating plenty of rewarding career opportunities for today’s job seekers!

From making a positive impact on the lives of others to paving a path for long-term career development, there are plenty of reasons to pursue a career in health and social care. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our Health and Social Care SWAP, an exclusive sector-based work academy programme designed to set learners up for a rewarding career in one of the UK’s fastest-growing segments.

During this four-week virtual programme, learners will gain the knowledge and practical skills to work in a care home, domiciliary care, community support, or a childcare setting. They’ll also have the opportunity to hear directly from top employers in the health and social care sector and learn about exclusive job opportunities with Achieve Together, Lifeways Group, and GrandNanny!

Plus, all course graduates will have a guaranteed interview for one of many open job vacancies, including:

Support Workers will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, and some overnight shifts.
