Supporting Over 50s Back into the Workforce

< back to news

The number of people over the age of 50 who are unemployed and looking for work is on the rise, while at the same time employers across multiple industries are seeking to fill vacancies. Older workers are a huge asset to the workforce, and there are plenty of rewarding career opportunities available to them! In fact, the government reports that there are currently more than 400,000 over 50s in job roles than before the pandemic!

While there are lots of job opportunities out there for over 50s, they often face a unique set of challenges in securing employment, such as a possible gap in skills compared to younger job seekers. That’s why we’re delighted to offer a new set of courses carefully designed to help over 50s gain the necessary skills to find fulfilling work in today’s workforce.
