Before coming to Strive Training, I was demoralised with my future career prospects.

I was disheartened with all aspects of any future employment. I was lacking the motivation and confidence to fulfil my potential.

Being out of work left me devoid of self-worth and self-confidence.

I was generally immersed in a negative cycle of unemployment.

While I was getting help from my work-coach, I found seeking and applying for jobs a struggle.

After being referred by my work-coach, I met Gary from Strive through my local job centre.

That’s when things started to change.

I signed up for the ‘EmployabilityPlus’ course, and the Level 2 ‘Principles in Warehousing and Storage’.

By completing ‘Employability Plus’ I have learnt not only how to create and present a professional CV and cover-letter, but I’ve also learnt how to conduct myself in an interview.

Employability Plus has helped me with the process of job-seeking and with the process of making job applications. Completing the Level 2 in the Principles of Warehousing and Storage helped me gain important knowledge that will be invaluable to my future employment.

So both courses have helped me gain both knowledge and confidence in all aspects of finding employment and pursuing my career.

All the staff at Strive Training have been both approachable and enthusiastic in helping me. Their willingness to help me complete the courses and fulfill my potential has been indispensable.

My tutors Shani and Antonio were both supportive and enthusiastic in how they delivered and presented their courses, and I’m more than grateful for all their help and support.

I’d also like to thank Saleena and Ananta for all their professional guidance and advice in helping me both apply for jobs and complete job applications.

Not only did I successfully complete two courses, but thanks to Strive, I’m about to start a new job as a Support Worker with an exciting organisation called Achieve Together!

I was put forward by Strive for the job, and with their support, I was succesfull.

I never through I’d be able to confidently apply for a job and actually enjoy going to a job interview – thank you Strive!

I’m now feeling very positive about my future.

Strive have helped me immensely. I’m now far more confident in seeking jobs, applying for jobs, and going for job interviews.

And I’m now much more positive about my future career prospects.
