Virtual Job Fair Shines Spotlight on Strive Employers

At Strive Training, we’re proud of our expanding network of partnerships with local and national employers, such as Waitrose and the Civil Service. We’re always actively looking for the right job opportunities for our motivated learners, which is why we were delighted to host our first Virtual Job Fair. 

Strive Training’s Virtual Job Fair was the perfect opportunity to bring together our learners and employers to explore some of the most exciting job opportunities available. During the event, learners had the chance to hear directly from our employer network about working with their organisation, learn about exclusive job vacancies, and discover the right job opportunity and employer for them! 

We were fortunate to be joined by some of top employers, including:

Achieve Together

Achieve Together is one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism, PMLD, deafness, hearing loss, and associated complex needs. Their team of expert practitioners proudly deliver high-quality support to more than 2,000 people in over 350 services across England and Wales. The organisation is regularly looking for Support Workers across multiple branches around London.

Cre8 Football

Cre8 Football is a not-for-profit organisation based in Croydon that works with children, young people, and families to meet a sporting, social and educational need through weekly sports sessions (not just football!) The organisation also delivers workshops, sessions and projects to support educational progression, employment, and life skills. Cre8 is always looking for motivated and passionate people to join their team in a variety of roles!

Grandnanny

Grandnanny is the UK’s first in-home intergenerational childcare service. The organisation recruits and trains job-seeking midlife + neighbours and connects them with local families who need childcare. Multiple roles are available, including nanny and office positions.

Haringey Works

Haringey Works provides free employment support services, open to all Haringey residents. The organisation partners with job seekers to help place them into a number of different roles and industries in and around Haringey.

Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH)

Lee Hecht Harrision is a leading provider of outplacement services and HR consulting. The company is continually recruiting for a number of open positions, including office assistant, sales roles, and more!

Waitrose & Partners

As one of the UK’s leading supermarkets, Waitrose prides itself on being different by combining the convenience of a supermarket with the expertise and service of a specialist food shop. It’s an ideal employer for job seekers looking for a Customer Delivery Driver or warehousing role.

Women in Blockchain Talks

Women in Blockchain Talks, the UK’s number one female-led and award-winning Blockchain educational and networking events platform, runs monthly events to promote inclusivity and diversity in blockchain. No knowledge of blockchain is required to join the team!
