This week, world leaders are taking action against climate change by gathering in Glasgow for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26. The need to address climate change has become increasingly apparent, and across the globe more people are stepping up to support initiatives to protect the planet. As a result, the need and opportunity for green jobs is on the rise!

Green jobs play an essential role in tackling climate change and this rapidly growing sector is the perfect opportunity for eco-conscious individuals to pursue a sustainable career. A new green economy is expected to create 1.2 million new jobs in the UK over the next two years!

These virtual courses are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to find meaningful employment in the growing green sector. We’re currently offering three GreenFutures qualifications:

• GreenFutures: Introduction to Environmental Awareness: This 1.5 day course is designed to give learners the foundational environmental knowledge a growing number of employers want their team to have.

• GreenFutures: Employability: This five day course will help learners develop essential employability skills required to find work in the green economy. 

• GreenFutures: Climate Change and Environmental Awareness: This two-week course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding they need to drive positive change for the planet and step into a green career.
