Last month, we were delighted to welcome our partners to our 2022 Virtual Partner Showcase, where we celebrated our 2021 successes and previewed what’s to come in the year ahead. More than 50 partners from across the UK joined us to explore our provisions, hear from our amazing guest speakers, and discover how Strive Training is helping our learners into work. 

The event couldn’t have come at a better time, as job vacancies in the UK continue to climb as the jobs market recovers. During the showcase, partners learned about our range of upcoming sector-based work academy programmes (SWAPs) designed to fast-track our learners’ careers with selected employers, as well as our ever-expanding range of home-learning courses. 

Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from our special guest speakers: Barbara Hardy, renowned HR and training consultant; Malachi Talabi, multiple award-winning speaker and motivator; and Martin Randell, Employment Advisor, Kingston DWP. 

Some of the key highlights from showcase included:

• Our amazing upcoming SWAPs, offering learners a foot in the door to a number of industries, including hospitality, health and social care, and the Civil Service!
• An evolving range of VLE and home-learning courses, including our new Employability for Success course
• Our new automated referral process, which has led to a 40% increase in referrals translating into full enrolments!
• Inspiring job success stories from previous learners
