On 9th November, we were delighted to welcome nearly 50 partners from across London to our 2022 Croydon Partner Showcase. During the morning event, we celebrated the ongoing support of our amazing partners and highlighted how we’re helping job seekers across London find gainful employment.
The event couldn’t have come at a more relevant time, as employers continue to recruit and compete for talent, especially when it comes to hard-to-fill vacancies. According to the latest CIPD Labour Market Outlook, 46% of recruiting employers have hard-to-fill vacancies, which are most common in transport and storage, voluntary, and healthcare sectors.
During the showcase, we shared a number of ways that we’re helping job seekers tap into employment opportunities, including our employer-led sector-based work academy programmes (SWAPs), designed to equip learners with the required skills to pursue employment in these in-demand sectors. Partners had the opportunity to explore more about our SWAP programmes, as well as hear from some of our employer partners, including:
Partners also had the chance to explore our evolving range of virtual live courses – including specially designed courses for those aged 50+ – and learn more about our Employment Team services, such as tailored career advice, application support, and more.
Thank you to all of those who joined us! If you missed the event, but would like to learn more about how Strive Training is helping job seekers bolster their search, please get in touch with Ananta Patel at apatel@strivetraining.co.uk.
