We’re delighted to announce that our Croydon Training Centre is now fully reopen! It’s been a while since we’ve been able to work with our learners face-to-face, and we’re thrilled to be able to welcome them back to classroom-based learning. 

Since 2010, more than 50,000 learners across Greater London have successfully completed Strive Training courses. Our Croydon Training Centre offers learners a welcoming, friendly environment where they can discover new opportunities, gain essential job skills, meet new people, and connect with potential employers. Strive’s tutors and staff are also on hand to help guide learners on their journey to a new career through comprehensive employment assistance, including tailored career advice, CV and interviewing tips, and job application support. 

To start, we’ll be offering a series of classroom-based courses, including:

• Civil Service Employability: This 5-day course will help prepare learners to take on a new role in the Civil Service and ready them to complete the Civil Service’s specific application process. Learn more about the course and starting dates here.

• Business Administration L1: During this 2-week course, learners will master document management, explore the principles of business administration, and prepare for a role in business administration. Learn more about the course and starting dates here.

• Functional Skills – Maths: This course is designed to enhance learners’ knowledge of Maths and help them develop critical thinking skills that they’ll use at work, at home, and for further study. Learn more about the course and starting dates here.

• Functional Skills – English: This course is the perfect way for learners to improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and master the art of communication. Learn more about the course and starting dates here.

To celebrate our grand re-opening, we’ll be hosting a series of breakfast events for Jobcentre Plus work coaches located in Croydon, Merton, and Sutton. Come join us for a morning coffee, some delicious breakfast treats, and discover how we can help your customers back to work this year.
