New Course: Finding Work in the Green Economy

From clean technology to electric transport, job seekers could be set to enter a new world of work. By 2030, there could be as many 694,000 new jobs in the low-carbon and renewable energy sector across the UK. With green jobs on the rise, there’s tremendous potential for green career growth!

To help prepare job seekers to enter the green workforce, we’re proud to introduce GreenCareers Employability, a five-day virtual course that’s designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to find work in the green economy. 

The course will help learners master key concepts that could set them up for a successful career in a variety of green industries, including green manufacturing, renewable energy, environmental protection, waste management, and more! 

The unique programme features:

  • An emphasis on employability skills, such as CV writing, interviewing skills, job searching, and more.
  • Tailored advice on possible career paths in the green sector based on learners’ individual interests, skills, and experience 
  • Talks from green industry leaders and recruiters about what it’s like to work in the green sector 
  • Access to local, live green job opportunities!
